Here there are 12 websites for students that I’ve found to be really helpful at different times during my life as a student. Not only are all of these sites great, but they’re also free (with options to go premium)! As a student, I really value tools like these ones and I hope you’ll find them useful as well! 🤓
Most useful websites for students:
Mind-mapping is not only a way of organizing your notes but this technique is also great for reviewing a topic. It makes it easier to arrange all the information, especially those parts that are key. This strategy can also be used to plan projects or even brainstorm. Mindomo is a website that allows you to create mind maps in a very easy way. You can then download your work in different formats or even collaborate with others in your dashboard.
All you need is to sign up and then you’re ready to go! There are also paid plans in case you want to upgrade some features.
As a student, you’ll likely have to make a presentation with some slides at some point. Slidesgo is a site that offers a tooon of slides templates that you can use for Google Slides or PowerPoint. There are a ton of templates you can choose from depending on the look you want to go for. It is really easy to download the templates and start working on them.
You can access free templates or choose to pay for premium ones. Though, if I’m being honest, the free ones are already of great quality! You can download a free template without having to sign up. However, if you do create an account you have access to downloading up to 10 free templates per month!
I Miss My Cafe

I Miss My Cafe offers a virtual environment that recreates a coffee shop wherever you are! They offer a variety of sounds that go from barista to coffee cups, other customers, music, and more! You can modify the volume of each one to create your perfect space.
Personally, I am one of those students that need to hear some kind of noise when studying but can’t really be music because I’ll just start singing. Whether is some white noise or a mix of sounds like in I Miss My Cafe, I find it to really improve my productivity and concentration.

Coffitivity is another great website for students as its purpose is to boost your productivity and help you concentrate more effectively. It is very similar to I Miss My Cafe but a nice option nonetheless. They have a library where you’ll be able to find different sounds and choose the one you like the most.
You can also choose to pay for a premium option that will allow you to get access to unlimited audio tracks.

Honestly, I don’t know any student that hasn’t used Canva at some point in their lives. You can choose to work with the free version (which in my opinion is already amazing!) or pay for a premium plan. Either way, you’ll see how incredibly useful this website is.
Sleepyti.me is a very simple but incredibly useful website for students. It is a sleep calculator that will help you wake up feeling refreshed by simply finding the best time to go to sleep. It is very simple to use and there are three options you can use:
- Choose at what time you need to wake up.
- If you go to sleep now, what time should you wake up?
- At what time do you plan to fall asleep?
Depending on this, the calculator will tell you the best times for you to go to sleep or wake up so that you complete a certain number of sleep cycles. This will help you wake up feeling refreshed and ready to start your day!
